CHECK-OUT AND CHECK-IN
Rooms are available from 17.00 hrs onward until 22.00 hrs. Reception closes at 22.00 hrs.
Sometimes rooms may be available earlier than 17.00 hrs. but this cannot be guaranteed.
You may guarantee early check-in at a cost of £ 18.50. Please vacate your room before 10.00 hours
on the day of departure. You may vacate your room later than 10.00 hrs. at an additional charge.
Receipts will be emailed to the email address submitted at the time of reservation.
Hot, cold and alcoholic beverages are served in the bar, the restaurant or from reception.
Complimentary hot beverages are available in your room which are replenished each morning.
In addition a vending machine in reception is operational between 20.00 and 07.30 hrs.
EARLY MORNING COFFEE AND TEA
Early morning coffee or tea can be served to room @ £ 3.50 per person if pre-ordered the night prior.
Available from 07.30 to 09.00 hrs.
FIRE AND EMERGENCY
Please read the emergency instructions located on the back of your bedroom door.
FOOD and DRINK
Our menus change daily and can be found at around 18.00 hrs in reception.
We serve dinner each night from 18.00 hrs. and provide room service.

We have an extensive wine list available should you wish to enjoy pre-dinner drinks in your room.
A cold meal and drinks can be pre-ordered if guests will arrive after the kitchen is closed.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner picnic baskets are available from £ 12.50 subject to sufficient notice.
We do not allow customers to bring food or drink onto our premises.
You will find a hair dryer in the drawer of the dresser or wardrobe in your room.
A central heating radiator as well as an electric radiator is provided in your room.
Note that they are thermostatically controlled, which means that only one appliance works at any one time.
Central heating is only operational in the winter. Electric heaters work year round.
Please think of our children's planet when leaving your room and switch lights and heating off.
All rooms are equipped with an ironing center, ironing board or trouser press with iron board.
MESSAGES and POST
Messages and post may be left for collection in reception for hotel residents during their stay only
without any responsibility being taken for its contents, loss or damage.
HOTEL CUSTOMER PARKING
We have limited car parking spaces and ask all customers to park as close as possible adjacent to another vehicle after dropping
off passengers and or luggage on the entrance drive. For each hotel reservation there is one private car parking space for the duration
of the reservation only. Additional vehicles and COMMERCIAL VEHICLES UP TO 3.5 ton are charged £ 15.00 per day or part thereof. Vehicles in excess of 3.5 ton may not use our car park. Hotel customers doing so without out our agreement are charged
£ 10.00 per ton G.V.W to allow us to effect repairs.
RESTAURANT CUSTOMER PARKING
Please park as close as possible adjacent to another vehicle. Consider sharing vehicles when visiting the Schoolhouse Hotel for meal.
Hook street has a 30 Mph speed limit so you can park on the road provided this is done according to road traffic regulations.
PROPERTY LEFT BEHIND
Property left behind can be returned to your chosen address but will attract a £ 12.50 charge plus postage charges.
In the interest of your privacy we will not contact you if you have left any item behind. Items left behind and not claimed will be
disposed off within 2 weeks.
Charge per item £ 4.00 each way
Overnight shoe shine £12.50.
Please write your mobile telephone number on your registration form if you wish us to contact in your room during your stay.
Alternatively we can supply GSM telephones on request. Either a desktop or a hand held GSM telephone is available.
These telephones allow you direct dial inbound and outbound calls.
You may take these telephones anywhere you like and keep them as long as you like. Telephone rental is charged £ 3.00 per day or part thereof with a minimum of £ 6.00. Calls are charged at the network rates plus 25%. Rental charges start with receipt of the telephone and end upon return of the telephone. A deposit or valid credit card may be required as security. Lost and damaged telephones or telephones not returned after the rental period will be charged cost of replacement.
RADIO AND TELEVISION
A television/radio/digital receiver is available in your room. Please use with care and think of other guests.
We are located in an overlapping area of transmitters which means that the signal received varies and some channels
may from time to time not be received.
Staff are available to clean rooms from 0900 to 11.00 hours. Should you require your room to be cleaned after
1100 hours please note that additional charges apply. All rooms are supplied fresh and clean on arrival.
Food and drink served in your room is charged @ £3.50 per delivery plus the cost of the selected items.
SECURITY, ENTRY AND EXIT
In the interest of safety and security our public areas are continuously monitored by cameras for your security.
Smoking is not allowed inside or outside our premises other than in the dedicated smoking area at the
side of the building. Customers smoking in our bedrooms are charged £ 142.00 plus one days room rate to
pay for the dry cleaning of all soft furnishings in the room and the room rate for the duration of effecting
ELECTRIC EQUIPMENT AND VOLTAGE
The electrical supply is 240 volts. The bathroom socket contains an outlet for shavers or tooth brushes with a converter to
115 volts. This must be used for these types of appliances only! If you require help with electrical equipment please ask.
