Pre booked party lunches at the Schoolhouse Restaurant and  Hotel In Swindon

£ 20.00 for Main Course and Starter or Dessert.
£ 24.00 for Starter, Main Course and Dessert.
£ 12.50 Children's menu.
All prices are per person and include vat.

Lunch tables may be reserved  between 12.00 and 13.00
Reservations are required as all food is cooked to order from fresh supplies.

Most of our dishes can be adapted to allow for coeliac, lactose free and nut free diets provided we are advised at the time of reservation. The menu may change subject to availability of commodities.

Starter



Black pudding salad with orange, cured ham and raspberry dressing.

House pate toasted brioche and Cumberland sauce.

Mussel vol au vent, parsley cream sauce.

Mildly curried prawn kedgeree with beans, egg, coriander and mango chutney.


Marlborough mushrooms & herb butter fried bread.

Mediterranean salad with feta cheese, olives, tomato and balsamic dressing.


 

 


Main courses (with vegetables as appropriate)


 

Roasted sirloin of beef with Yorkshire pudding, horseradish and bordelaise sauce.

Roasted honey basted chicken on the bone with sausage stuffing, vegetable brunoise and tarragon jus.

Roasted pork loin, roasted apple and cider jus.

Roasted pheasant, red currant, orange & port jus.

Rib eye of beef with béarnaise sauce.

Catch of the day roasted with herb butter on vegetable julienne & hollandaise sauce.

Vegetarian feast;
Dolmades, lentil stuffed courgette, stuffed cabbage leaves, artichoke, plaki, stuffed chicory, tomato &
 basil sauce and pilaf rice.
